Messed up a backup, wiped the drive. Trying to figure out what to do about it. This is sort-of backup from the laptop. Don't expect anything new from me till it's all fixed.

Preliminary triage suggests that all I lost are writebacks after 20040222. Most of the files were resident on the laptop, the two newest files (/index.html and /mylife/index.html) were recovered from their working drafts in the Trash. I'm normally obsessive about emptying the Trash, thank god I wasn't tonight.
